In concrete floor casting work, two methods that are often compared are the use of bondek and conventional casting systems with wooden formwork. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages, but in terms of efficiency, many contractors are starting to switch to bondek because of the number of practical advantages it offers.
What is Bondek?
Bondek is a corrugated steel plate that functions as a permanent formwork as well as an additional strength to the floor structure. Bondek is installed on steel or concrete beams as a casting base, replacing the wooden planks commonly used in conventional methods.
