1. Foundation

2. Sloof

Sloof is a reinforced concrete beam placed on top of the foundation. Its function is to distribute the load from the wall to the foundation and maintain the stability of the building so that it does not crack due to ground movement.

3. Column

The column or vertical pillar is tasked with channeling the load from the beam and plate to the sloof to the foundation. Generally made of reinforced concrete or steel.

4. Beam

A beam is a horizontal structure that supports the floor or roof. The beam transfers the load to the column. There are various types of beams, such as main beams, child beams, and cantilever beams.

5. Floor Plate (Dak)

Floor plate or roof is a flat surface used as a floor or roof. Usually made of reinforced concrete supported by beams and columns.

6. Walls

Walls function as room dividers, weather protection, and light supports. Can be made of red brick, concrete blocks, precast panels, or other materials depending on needs and design.

7. Roof and Roof Frame

The roof protects the building from rain and heat. The roof frame (can be made of light steel, wood, or WF steel) supports the roof covering such as tiles or zinc.
